I'd probably say unique to khans although I cant see why other factions might have 1 or 2 really old ones they were traded or something.

Preliminary testing of Colour ID's, Model Is fully UV mapped now although I've probably made a mess of it and will have to go over them. Had a fiddle around with the collision system in Blender as well Although I'm getting some problems exporting to .nif atm so I don't know if any of the other formats such as .fbx .obj etc can contain the collision data as I can open them in nifskope and export to .nif.
I've been looking at the development forums for the nif tools and there is nothing even in private development for F4 modding. Will message some other mod authors in the next few days to see if they have managed it, But I suspect they imported custom models and used vanilla models as a template, something I cannot do with the tents as they are unique. If only I could use the NV templates in f4
And finally this is a basic render of some smart materials applied to the mesh, Shall definitely be refining colours dirt and grunge etc.

This is looking incredible Falkbeard! Absolutely stunning!
Unfortunately we cannot use any asset from previous games so we're gonna have to figure out how to make it work with f4 assets only or on our own. I wonder if it would work if we were to use another structure from f4 as a base (even if it's a brick building for instance?)

Thanks mate, I wasn't meaning the actual model I was meaning the values to be used in nifskope and the creation kit as I've seen a few videos that do this but not for f4

That's purely amazing ! However , do you plan to leave 'em static or maybe animate some kind of wind movement ? Cauz you know , adamantium tents are not that Immersive (for those who got the reference)

Thanks guys. Its actually a 5 minute job to make the folds just very very CPU intensive while it simulate.
Lol sorry but I don't get that reference. Is it becuse of the scratches in the cloth? Also I could see about creating some wind animations for this

I hope we can find a way to get this stuff into the game soon.

Is it sad that it took me longer to do my simulation than it took Falkbeard to make the creases? I'm on the fence on this one.

Yes it seems that the new havok based collision format f4 uses cannot be custom created, so ill have to look at similar in game models and try and use there collisions boundaries.
But I cant access any of the f4 files at the moment. If we are usingpieces the player wont collide with we can use any collision from any model tbh
